  You can set up an online petition at http://www.ipetitions.com. There are quite a few sites offering the same service for free. If you set one up, please let us know, and we’ll link to it. We’ve actually decided not to set our own up here, because we really want to encourage individuals to make their feelings known to local councillors and MP’s via email, or post. Its not that we don’t agree with petitions – I’ve actually signed one myself – but there is a risk that one petition can be seen as a single objection.
